Request for Donation

To be eligible to receive charitable donations from MBL, travel directors must submit an MBL Charitable Donation Framework form.

Upon completing the form, the form will be routed to Bob Lilledahl at MBL.

Program Rules:

Charitable donations are made possible for youth baseball development clinics, facility improvements, and community giving tied to youth baseball.

The community requesting a donation must be a member of MBL in good standing.

Limit of one donation per community per calendar year.

MBL has the right to take and post photos and information regarding the project on social media (pre, during, and post event or project completion).

Specific to facility improvement requests:

  • The community at large must benefit (not just an individual or team).
  • Community must provide and post a sign (reasonable size mutually agreed to) on location, to the effect, “Developed in partnership with Metro Baseball League. Play Ball. Make Memories.” for a period of one year post project completion.

Timing of the donation to be determined based on the nature of the project.

The Metro Baseball League and Minnesota Baseball Tournaments is a non-profit organization created and existing solely to serve youth baseball in Minnesota. Founded in 1992, MBL/MBT prepares kids to play baseball at different levels and is a community-based program serving the Twin Cities metro, Southern Minnesota, and Western Wisconsin.

MBL is dedicated to offering community-based baseball, while keeping fees low for participants aged 8-16. It is a 501(c)(3) organization and offer grants to communities for field and facilities enhancements along with scholarships for those in need.

Clinics for player development, facility improvements, and community giving tied to youth baseball enable families and youth baseball players to maximize their experience and an opportunity to create lasting memories.
