MBL About Tournaments

Metro Baseball League and Minnesota Baseball Tournaments is a non-profit organization created and existing solely to serve youth baseball in Minnesota. Founded in 1992, MBL/MBT prepares kids to play baseball at different levels and is a community-based program serving the Twin Cities metro, Southern Minnesota, and Western Wisconsin.

MBL/MBT IS ONE OF THE LARGEST INDEPENDENT LEAGUES AND BASEBALL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COUNTRY, WITH OVER 650 LEAGUE TEAMS AND 600 STATE TOURNAMENT TEAMS.

We are dedicated to community-based baseball while keeping fees low for participants aged 9-15. With over 9,000 athletes, MBL is one of the largest independents in the nation. MBL issues grants to communities for field and facilities enhancements along with scholarships for those in need.

Our Goal

The goal of MBL/MBT is to grow the game of baseball, while always focusing the programming, education, training, and resources back to the youth baseball organizations in each community.
